Pumpkin Squirrel Feeder

If you're looking for a quick and easy way to use up an pumpkin that's maybe past it's best, this is a great way to reduce waste and help create a food supply for wildlife.


This is a really easy way to help all those animals and birds that are looking for something to eat as winter approaches.


What You Need

  • 1 pumpkin

  • 1 container or bowl

  • knife (little pumpkin pickers will need a bit of help)

  • Somewhere up high to put it

What You Need

  1. Find your pumpkin

  2. Carefully chop up your left over pumpkin, little pumpkin pickers may need some help

  3. Place in the bowl or container

  4. Put the container up high and off the floor (keep Hedgehogs safe)

Did You Know?

Pumpkins are poisonous to Hedgehogs! Though hedgehogs find pumpkins very tasty, they're actually really bad for them. To help keep them safe by placing any leftover pumpkins in a high place or off the ground where they can't react them.
